Older Adult Exercise classes – starts January 4th!

2016 classes begin January 4th

OLDER ADULT EXERCISE

 MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY

9:30 AM – 10:30 AM

Westgate Membership required $20.00

Come to both or just one $5.00 drop-in

The participants do a twenty minute cardio workout, followed by strength and balance training, the last ten minutes focuses on flexibility training to improve range of motion. The classes are designed to assist older adults maintain their independence and make their daily tasks easier.

Recuperating from an operation/illness?  This is a great way to get back in shape.

Not only does the class bring health, wellness and active living to the group,

it is also a great place to enjoy good times with friends!

No floor exercises.

SIT/FIT/BALANCE EXERCISE

TUESDAY AND THURSDAY

10AM – 11 AM

COME TO BOTH OR JUST ONE $5.00 DROP-IN

WESTGATE MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED $20

TRY CLASS BEFORE PAYING MEMBERSHIP

Using balls and weights while seated this exercise program keeps you strong and  improves range of motion to maintain independence and make daily tasks easier while some standing while supported exercises help maintain balance. This class is also helpful if recuperating from an operation or illness.
