2024 Holiday Lights of Westgate Stroll

The Holiday Lights of Westgate Stroll is back for another year of festive fun

We’re loving all of the decorations that have been popping up around Westgate and we can’t wait to celebrate everyones efforts. If you’d like to be featured on the Holiday Lights Stroll map make sure you sign up by Dec. 2nd.

Participation is easy:

• Register your display by December 2nd: Want to show off your festive display? Fill out the Google Form before end of day on December 2nd.
• Grab a map on December 8th: Holiday Lights Stroll maps will be available for pick up on December 8th from 6-9pm at the Westgate Community Hall  (4943 8 Ave SW)
• Follow the map and enjoy!: At your leisure walk around Westgate and discover as many great holiday displays as you can
• Vote for your favourites: Voting opens December 8th and closes December 18th. Cast your votes and see if your favourite wins!

On December 8th we’ll also have some festive refreshments and entertainment at the hall, feel free to hang out before beginning your stroll or stop by after to warm up and tells us the must-sees of the stroll.

Donations for the Calgary Food Bank will also be accepted during map pick-up. High demand items include canned goods including vegetables and meat, grains such as pasta, rice or cereal and non-food products such as hygiene products, pet supplies, kids birthday decorations and baby items. The 2024 Calgary Food Bank Wish List is great resource to see what is needed. As always, follow the food bank’s guide lines and only donate new, non-perishable, undamaged goods.
