Halloween Costume Exchange

Fall has arrived and with Thanksgiving behind us, the countdown is on until Halloween! With that comes the hunt for the perfect costume. If you’re in the market for a new-to-you costume, you’re in luck as we’ll be hosting another Halloween Costume Exchange. This is a great way for you to clear out old costumes taking up space in your home and help someone else find what they need to have a spooktacular Halloween.

Event Details:

October 23rd from 10am – 2pm at the Westgate Community Association (4943 8th Ave SW)

A few guidelines for donating costumes: 

• During the event we’re operating under a “leave what you can, take what you need” rule
• We’re accepting costumes for all ages
• Donations can be dropped off in 3 ways:
  • Drop off at the Westgate Community Association hall during business hours
  • Bin donations accepted at 235 Westminster Dr. SW
  • During the Exchange event on Oct. 23 at the Westgate Community Association Hall

This event is volunteer run. A lot of work goes into collecting, sorting and displaying the costumes. If you’d like to help out on Oct. 23rd or have general questions about the event, please contact Patricia at Patricia.i@westgate.ca
