Each winter the City of Calgary runs the Snow Angels program, to encourage people to lend a helping hand when the snow falls. This initiative emphasizes the importance of helping neighbours during winter, illustrating the power of simple acts of kindness.

It’s easy, when it snows keep an eye out for neighbours who might need a helping hand in clearing their sidewalk. If you’re able to lend a helping hand, clear the snow and keep our sidewalks safe for all pedestrians.
