Westgate Family Fun Day August 27, 2022

We had so much fun during last year’s Family Fun Day that we decided to make it an annual event. There will be a lot more to do and see this year so we hope you’ll join us for our 2nd Annual Westgate Family Fun Day on August 27th.

When: August 27th 11am – 3pm

Where: Westgate Community Association 4943 8 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T3C 3V4

What you can expect:

• Free Book fair
• Bike parade
• Pickle Ball
• City of Calgary Activity Station
  • Crafts for kids & the young at heart
• Food
  • Panini Boy food truck
  • WCA Concession Stand
• Meet & Greet with Ward 6 City Councillor Richard Pootmans
• Classic Cars

Tips for making the most of the 2nd Annual Westgate Family Fun Day:

1. Bring your own lawn chairs, picnic blankets etc. if you want a comfy place to sit and enjoy the food and music available on site
2. August has been hot so far, don’t forget to bring some water with you (we’ll also have some on site)
3. Bring a reusable tote bag to stash all your book fair finds
4. Want to try pickle ball? We’ll have some equipment for you to use or you can bring your own. Make sure you’re wearing active wear and appropriate footwear such as running shoes
5. Have a kid interested in the bike parade? Decorations will be provided for kids to deck out their rides, however you’re welcome to decorate bikes in advance. Kids of all ages and all bike types are welcome and don’t forget those helmets
6. Event is happening rain or shine so dress for the weather, we’ll take care of the rest!
